We are currently in the development stage and are focused on growing our member base to partner with advertisers. Please support us by sharing our site with your friends and family, becoming a member, and enjoying our game.

How much does it cost

MG Wars is completely free to play. All you need to do is become a member, which is simple and free. Any tokens you earn will be automatically added to your account, ready for when we partner with advertisers.

Do I have to convert tokens

No, you do not have to convert tokens once possible. If you just want to play and have fun, you’re more than welcome - we look forward to seeing your name on the leaderboard!

How do I play MG Wars

To play MG Wars, all you need is a device with an internet browser. While the game is designed to be best experienced on a desktop or laptop with a keyboard, we have integrated on-screen controls for touchscreen and mobile devices.

We recommend playing on a device with a screen resolution of at least 1280 × 720; however, the game is designed to scale for smaller screens, including mobile phones. For the best experience, we recommend using Chrome or Firefox on any device.

What game is MG Wars

MG Wars is a retro-style 2D side-scroller themed around alien abduction, where you must save rescuees (people and animals) from the alien invasion. Inspired by the classic arcade game Defender, it includes humor, new features, themed levels, AI voice-overs, exclusive soundtracks from underground artists, and much more.

It was designed and created by Meme Genie® UK Limited CEO/Founder Craig Chant and even includes one of his own tracks. The game is dedicated to his son and is full of Easter eggs and playful jokes!

Can I still use the AI tools

Yes! Your MG Wars account also gives you access to our AI tools. You’ll still receive the free credits available to all new members. If you'd like to support the platform and unlock the full potential of our AI features, you can subscribe to one of our plans. These tools enable you to analyse, create, and edit memes and images easily using natural language.

What is the age rating

MG Wars is designed to be silly and fun, featuring childish humor including words like "anal," "rectal," "Uranus," and falling poop splats you can shoot. We recommend it for ages 8+, as younger children might find some jokes inappropriate or confusing. Parental guidance is advised.

What if I need help

Can I choose my own name

Yes! MG Wars allows you to create your own unique player name, separate from your main account username. We encourage creativity, but we expect all player names to be courteous and appropriate. Offensive or abusive names will not be tolerated and may result in account suspension or removal.

How many levels are there

The initial launch of MG Wars includes two fully playable levels, with a third currently in development. We have many more levels planned to keep the game fresh, engaging, and full of new humor and challenges - especially for our most competitive players. Stay tuned for regular updates and new content!

Crackling or popping audio

We are aware that on some mobile devices, game audio may occasionally crackle or pop. This is caused by browser latency issues when playing real-time sound. We have found that using the Firefox browser (available from your app store) fully resolves this problem.

Can I go fullscreen

Yes! If using a touch device, simply use the menu option and press the fullscreen button to enter fullscreen mode. To exit, simply open the menu again and click the fullscreen button a second time. This makes gameplay much smoother and avoids accidental scrolling.

Can I flag a player

Yes! If a player has created a name displayed in the leaderboard that you believe to be offensive or inappropriate, simply click the entry and use the flag button shown on the final stats screen to report the offending player. We take these reports seriously to maintain a positive and respectful community.
